|Red, Wine & Brew – Mentor is hosting another cigar event!
Transcending the experience of Central American tobaccos to the point of the sublime, the new Macanudo Inspirado Red is a bold, full-bodied cigar representing the marriage of rich volcanic soil and profound aging techniques to achieve unmatched strength and refinement. The Inspirado Red is blended with rare tobaccos, bound with hearty Nicaraguan Jalapa, and powered by enticing notes of pepper and spice.
Join us on the cigar patio on Saturday, June 23rd from 1-4PM to experience the Evolution of an Icon.
*Event is free, but seating is limited. Reserve your spot at bit.ly/Red618. The deadline to register is Sunday, June 10th.
|Red, Wine & Brew – Mentor is thrilled to welcome Francesca Bonfadini on June 7th, from 6-8pm, for a 3-course Meet the Winemaker pairing event.
In 1956, Giovanni Bonfadini opened the Bonfadini farm in Franciacorta, Italy, selling the grapes to large wine producers in the region. In 2007, Francesca Bonfadini, granddaughter of Giovanni, wanted to honor the work of her grandfather by creating something special with their own grapes. She began producing and bottling Bonfadini wines, growing production from the first year’s initial 5,000 bottles to 50,000 bottles of four very distinct classical wines. With the addition of winemaker Gianni Gasperi in 2013, Bonfadini succeeded in establishing its own distinctive identity, receiving many awards and positive feedback in Italy and abroad. The future is exciting, as today, Bonfadini is investing resources to equip the winery to handle production of up to 100,000 bottles a year.
Tickets are available for $30 at bit.ly/meet618. The deadline to reserve your spot is Wednesday, June 6th.
